When Richard met John, an insight into the Gordon-Smith Workshop

On Tuesday 1st March 2011, I embarked on a journey to Manchester - a journey which could either blow all my ideals and beliefs that I had been building up around this legendary UK Guitar builder or one which would compound my sense of wonder at a guitar which is painstakingly produced by hand in the UK which sells for little more than a run of mill mass produced electric.

Which would it be?   My tummy that morning was telling me I really did not know - and possibly didn't want to know the answer as I wouldn't be able to handle the dissapointment if I didn't like what I found!

I am currently writing up my blog highlighting my day out.  If you have an interest in Gordon Smith guitars please do come back soon for the full story.

As well as my full overview of the workshop experience I will be bringing you never seen before photos from his workshop thanks to the wonderful work of http://www.timelockphography.co.uk whom I cannot thank enough for joining me on this special day in my life.

Watch this space for the full story coming soon...
