Knowing where to start in describing the superlatives of this guitar is almost impossible!

So let me try...

This guitar is hand made in China from a small workshop owned by Doug Sparkes of Auden & Gordon Smith guitars (Gordon Smith being his UK workshop hand making electric guitars).

Final assembly and setup are completed here in England but essentially the quality of build is all down to the expertise of his small team of luthiers in this workshop in China.

Doug personally selects the woods used and always selects ONLY the fnest grades possible - which hardly needs explaining when you see the pictures of the maple used on this one!

I have been SO incredibly impressed by Auden Artist models that I have commissioned the "45" series. I am proud to say the 45 logo is my creation - inspired by the 45 RPM decal on the old vinyl records that I can JUST remember!!

The 45 denotes the 45mm nut and differentiates my personally commissioned guitars from the standard models. There is no extra charge for a 45 but that small additional width to the nut jut takes the guitar from feeling slimmer to more comfortably spaced between the strings. I love the 45mm nut concept and hence why these guitars were "born".

The pickup system is a work of art in itself and are now exclusively available on Auden guitars. I will be bringing a lot more information on this shortly so watch this space! Trust me - its off the scale in terms of tone and useable sounds from 4 voicings all of which can be EQ'd from within the sound hole.

This system also benefits from patent pending technology for removing and replacing the battery from within the guitar body - it has to be seen to be believed how easy it is to replace the battery.
