Cort Gold Passion Natural with Case
After a successful launch of the highly-praised Gold-Edge in 2021, we are proud to introduce Gold-Passion as the worthy successor and the new flagship model of Cort’s prestigious Gold Series. The main focus of Gold-Passion is ‘liveliness’, with enhanced playability and responsiveness thanks to the inclusion of unique bevel cutaway and specially chosen set of quality tonewoods, as well as the usual Gold Series treatment is featured such as Aged-to-Vintage torrefied top, doublelock neck joint and walnut reinforced neck for maximum stability, sonically enhanced UV finish, and hand-rolled body and fret edge treatment.
Envejecido a Vintage Top
A vintage instrument is the holy grail of acoustic guitar tone. The wood on the top cures and opens up more over time. This unleashes a tonal quality that is missing in new instruments – until now. Using a special process we call ATV (Aged To Vintage), we treat the solid engelmann spruce top to give it that big and open tone of a decades-old, highly-sought-after acoustic. This torrefaction process delivers that amazing tone to you right out of the box.

Modern Concert Body Shape
Inspired by the popular grand concert body shape, the newly designed Modern Concert body shape is Cort’s own rethinking of the smaller acoustic body type that was carefully designed for enhanced resonance and responsiveness. Together with an unique bevel cutaway, the Modern Concert shape also boasts playing comfort.
L.R.Baggs® Anthem Pickup
The L.R.Baggs® Anthem pickup/preamp system delivers the pure acoustic vibrations of the instrument to the amplifier and PA without any coloration. Unneeded feedback can also be easily and effectively controlled through minimalistic controls that do not interfere with the look of the instrument.
Hard Maple Neck and Ebony Fretboard
The maple neck provides a brighter punchier tone than the conventional neck materials such as mahogany, and the ebony fretboard provides a crisp and responsive sound in conjunction with the body’s acoustic resonance.
Neck Profile
Cort has developed comfortable dimensions in neck thickness from the headstock to the heel to increase comfort in your hands and optimize playability. To assure consistency, Cort uses state-of-the-art CNC machines to accurately mill each and every neck. Each neck is then carefully sanded and finished by skilled craftsmen who have a dedication and passion for building some of the best acoustic guitars in the world.
Hand-Rolled Body & Fret Edge Treatment
The sharp edges on the body, fretboard and frets are all hand- rolled to make them round, smooth and ultra- comfortable to touch and play. This process is highly complex and time-consuming and requires the skilled workmanship of experienced craftsmen.

El mástil de la Gold se ha reforzado para añadir rigidez y estabilidad mediante dos inserciones especiales. Se ha construido con dos piezas de nogal instaladas para añadir estabilidad al tiempo que se conservan las propiedades naturales de la madera para mejorar aún más la Gold.

Acabado UV mejorado sónicamente
UV finish is about 30% thinner than standard finishes and this allows the wood to “breathe” and vibrate more freely. This process requires a shorter drying time and reduces chemical interaction between the finish and the woods, which is ideal for your instrument’s longevity. Due to the much shorter drying time and the lack of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) in the UV finish material, it is also an environmentally friendly process. This high-tech finish is strong enough to be resistant to scratches but lightweight enough to improve the natural acoustic resonance of the body for a full, rich tone.
