MVP3 Loopation

For over a decade, MOOER has been creating innovative effect pedals, and the new MVP3 Loopation is no exception. Designed for both vocalists and instrumentalists, this versatile, feature-rich pedal is part of MOOER’s VP series, which offers flexible support for microphone inputs.

The Loopation provides 11 slots for saving audio loops, with 8 of those offering 5 minutes of recording time and the remaining 3 providing 10 minutes each. You can easily select between slots using the simple 'song' dial, and once recorded, your loops are automatically saved to the device. The pedal offers two recording modes: real-time and auto.

In real-time mode, recording begins when you press the right footswitch, functioning like a traditional looper. Auto mode, on the other hand, activates standby when the footswitch is pressed, automatically starting the recording when a signal is detected, and stopping it with another press.

The right footswitch also controls playback, and during playback, pressing it again enables dub mode for layering additional loops. Dub mode continues until the footswitch is pressed again. To stop playback, simply double-tap the right footswitch or switch to a different save slot.

When playback is paused, you can erase all layers by holding the right footswitch for 1 second or pressing it twice quickly. You can also undo a specific overdub by holding the left footswitch during playback, and redo it by repeating the motion. A single press of the left footswitch will reverse the audio.

Loopation supports both XLR and 1/4" inputs, which can be used in either 'mixed' or 'individual' mode. You can toggle between these modes by holding the right footswitch while plugging in the power supply. In mixed mode, both inputs are active and can be balanced with the 'mix' dial. In individual mode, the signals remain separate for their respective outputs. The master dial controls the overall output volume.

On top of its looping capabilities, the Loopation includes built-in reverb and tone effects. To adjust reverb volume, hold the 'tone' button while rotating the 'master' dial. You can also switch between three tone modes—flat, warm, and bright—by pressing the tone button.

Additional features include a gain adjustment knob, a 48V phantom power switch for internal microphone amplification, a grounding switch, a line-in switch, and a DC 9V 500mA power input. These combined with the pedal’s extensive looping functions create a comprehensive tool for composing in the studio, at home, or during live performances.
