Fender American Professional II Jazzmaster - Dark Night [Used]
I'm (Jon here!) not too proud to admit that I think this guitar is absolutely wonderful. I'm somewhat biased as somebody who has been a lover and advocate for all things offset for years (including those years they were less "hip" and this is no exception.
This particular JM has a super interesting colour that's no longer available, tonnes of sound options and a wonderful feeling neck.
The Jazzmaster is a fairly unique entity offered by Fender, boasting pickups that give a unique articulation and jangle that I've only heard from these pickups. In short - they tend to give a similar experience to P90s but cooler with a slightly different tonal balance. The V-mod pickups in this are slightly different to traditional Jazzmaster pickups so give a little bit more of a P90-like experience.
This particular version has wiring options to "tap" the output of the bridge pickup and strip that back somewhat to get more of the traditional Jazzmaster bridge sound, and the rhythm circuit puts both pickups in series giving a thicker almost humbucker-like output.
The body shape is extremely comfortable and well balanced even with guitars on the heavier side of things and will suit any body type for playing both standing and seated. so this is a great option to get an interesting and unique and comfortable guitar with a bit more versatility than some other offset options you might come across.
Comes with all the paperwork and bits and pieces, a hard case and will have Chris' wonderful setup done, as usual!
