Cort Gold D8 C Natural
The hallmark of Cort’s Gold series is the Aged to Vintage (ATV) treatment that allows the Grade A+ solid Sitka spruce top to cure and open up more over time. ATV acts as a torrefaction process, giving the Gold-D8 a big, open tone that’s bright, yet natural with a strong and warm midrange that’s reinforced by the solid Pau Ferro back and sides. A sonically enhanced UV finish protects both the instrument and tonal quality, and is now available in a new Light Burst color option in addition to Natural Gloss.

AGED TO VINTAGE TOP
A vintage instrument is the holy grail of acoustic guitar tone. The wood on the top cures and opens up more over time. This unleashes a tonal quality that is missing in new instruments — until now. Using a special process that we call ATV (Aged To Vintage) we treat the solid sitka spruce top to give it that big and open tone of a decades-old, highly-sought-after acoustic. This torrefecation process delivers that amazing tone to you right out of the box.

Featuring superior strength and dense grains along with the flexibility to resonate freely, the premium grade solid Sitka spruce top on the Gold Series is ideal for virtually any musical genre with a brilliant and clear high-end, warm and rich midrange, and a deep but tight low-end for a beautifully balanced sound.
SOLID PAU FERRO BACK AND SIDES
Il Pau Ferro, noto anche come Morado, Palissandro Santos o Palissandro Boliviano, vanta molte delle qualità molto apprezzate nei legni da costruzione vicini al Palissandro Indiano. È stabile, resistente all'abrasione, duro, attraente, esotico e ha una buona resistenza all'impronta parallela alle venature.
DOUBLELOCK NECK JOINT
La connessione tra il manico e il corpo di una chitarra è un altro fattore chiave per ottenere un suono eccellente. Sulla Gold, abbiamo iniziato con una tradizionale giunzione del manico a coda di rondine ben aderente. Poi l'abbiamo rinforzato aggiungendo un bullone. Questo giunto DoubleLock massimizza il trasferimento del tono e migliora la risonanza della Gold.
WALNUT REINFORCED NECK
Il manico della Gold è stato rinforzato per aumentare la rigidità e la stabilità grazie a due speciali inserti. Questo è costruito con due pezzi di noce installati per aggiungere stabilità, pur mantenendo le proprietà naturali del legno per migliorare ulteriormente il Gold.

For the most natural and organic sound and feel, there is nothing quite like genuine bone for the saddle and the nut, two critical contact points for the strings to vibrate freely and transfer that energy into the woods of the guitar.
