Kremona are celebrating 100 years since they first began hand crafting guitars - can you believe that?

Previously regarded around the world by professional classical players - they have thankfully produced a small number of steel string guitars and if you can’t get your hands on one you are very lucky indeed.

I hope my pictures do justice to the craftsmanship - with stunning semi gloss finish to the back and sides and a thin coat of gloss lacquer to the top.

if you consider a Dowina WAS £1499 for open pore but have recently announced this is not sustainable and pricing for even the most retailer open poor model will need to start at £2000 - this really demonstrates the incredible value for money you are getting here.

But what about the tone? The first thing I did was play this against the Dowina models and was blown away by the clarity and fullness of bass which is always the sign of a well made smaller body guitar (for me - and I mean relative to the sizen as poorer quality instruments can sound more  like tin cans at a smaller size !)

i just cannot wait to bring you some videos to show you this stunning little guitar in the flesh

Fingerstylists and flatpickers alike appreciate the timeless marriage of solid rosewood and tight-grained solid spruce.  The combination is further enhanced with an ebony fingerboard and bridge, offering articulation to the balance and breadth of our new flagship orchestral-bodied R35.  Hand-scalloped spruce bracing ensures responsiveness while a mahogany neck warrants stability. Abalone fret markers, a tasteful abalone rosette and black satin machines grace this modern classic.
