This is the most beautiful guitar I have ever seen or played and it's an absolute joy to play. The quality of the build and components is astonishing, and the attention to detail is something else. There is nothing out of place on this guitar.
The pick-up combination and selector switches offer a huge range of tones. To be honest this is all a bit overwhelming at the moment (2 weeks in) but I've settled on a lovely tone that will do me for now. I'm especially impressed with the single coil cleans. They're clear and ringing but at the same time have a warmth to them.
There are a bunch of reviews on-line about Valiant guitars and they're pretty much all gushing in their praise. They are absolutely right in my view.
My problem now is that I can't un-see what I've seen. This is the new standard. I'm already thinking how I can get enough money together to buy a Valiant Smith. Maybe I should trade all my other guitars!
Absolutely fantastic customer service from Richard’s Guitars! Contacted them to enquire about this used Jazzmaster and they could not have been more helpful with information and set up requests. Delivery was prompt, even over the Christmas period, and when I did get my hands on it, they had done an excellent job setting it up. Looks amazing and plays beautifully. Wonderful guitar, looks and sound beautiful. The Hyvib 2 takes it to a whole other level. Cannot recommend this guitar enough, I’ve had several other guitars including Gibson and Cole Clark this Lag is more enjoyable to play and hear than the others. I can’t stop picking it up and playing. Thank you everyone at Richard’s outstanding quality customer service, guitar setup was perfect.
Superb 12-string, huge sound with long sustain. Easy to play. Set up as good as expected. Excellent, very solid hard case as well.
Having already purchased a Furch Blue GC-CM from Richards a couple of years ago, I wanted a smaller guitar with a cedar top and a different wood for the back and sides. I had no doubt that Furch made fine guitars but the Yellow series is a real step up in class from the Blue, which was already a great standard. For a smaller sized body this guitar has a lot of presence with a beautiful balanced, focussed sound. The cedar gives great warmth while the rosewood provides precision and clarity. I've had a lot of compliments about the sound of this guitar. In answer to queries about where I got it I can do nothing else but recommend the whole buying experience from Richard's Guitars. Jon and Jake are always so helpful and are there to help you make the right decision without being salesy or pushy. I've bought three more guitars from Richard's, but those are for different reviews (all very good).

Cort M600TSB Tobacco Sunburst. Awesome Set Neck Electric Guitar For PRS Lovers. Top Recommendation I’m a seasoned drummer who has messed about on acoustic guitar for many years, partially because it’s easier to cart about than a drum kit but I also hate tapping away on a practice mat. I thought I might add an electric to my toys and approached Richard’s team to get some advice. They talked me through the options and let me loose with various models and makes including the Cort M600. It played buitifully even though it was straight out of the factory. Richard’s team checked it over and set it up fully and once Santa had done his thing I got to play it again. I couldn’t be more pleased, it looks great, feels great and sounds great with enough variation in tone to keep me busy. It may have taken me a while before I bought one but I can’t imagine wanting to change it. Thanks guys. Hmmm, but … just how many guitars does a drummer need?
