Introducing the new Booster Soundport feature, an innovative resonator that enhances the acoustic performance of Furch guitars. Positioned on the side of the guitar's body, Booster Soundport improves clarity, volume, and resonance for a richer playing experience.
If you're you looking to take your guitar playing to the next level? The Booster Soundport feature is here to revolutionize your playing experience by enhancing sound projection and body resonance.
The Booster Soundport is a game-changer in the world of guitar design. By cleverly reducing internal air pressure within the guitar’s body, it unleashes the full potential of the top soundboard, resulting in a richer, more dynamic sound with minimal effort. This innovative feature is strategically placed on the side of the guitar, ensuring that you can hear your music as clearly and vibrantly as your audience does.
Imagine playing your favorite song and feeling the music resonate through your entire being. That's the magic of the Booster Soundport. It goes beyond just amplifying the sound; it creates a more responsive and resonant instrument that truly comes alive in your hands. With this feature, every strum and pluck is infused with a newfound depth and clarity, making your music more engaging and immersive.
If you're a musician who craves a deeper connection with your instrument, the Booster Soundport is a must-have. It elevates your playing by providing a more authentic and expressive sound that captures the true essence of your music. Whether you're performing on stage or strumming in the comfort of your home, this innovative design ensures that your guitar sounds its best in any setting.
So, if you're ready to unlock the full potential of your guitar and explore new horizons in sound, the Booster Soundport is your ticket to a more immersive and rewarding playing experience. Say goodbye to ordinary sound and hello to a world of rich, resonant music with this pioneering design feature.
The effectiveness of the Booster Soundport was highlighted through an in-depth analysis of its frequency band performance. Measurements taken across bass, low-mid, high-mid, and high frequencies showed clear improvements. As Pavel Hoffman explains: “Although the bass and high frequencies remained mostly consistent, we observed a significant enhancement in the midrange. The low-mid range improved by 12%, and the high-mid range showed an impressive 24% increase.” These gains were determined by assessing performance ratios and converting the results into percentage improvements.
When evaluating the guitar’s directional sound projection with and without the Booster Soundport, we noted a substantial improvement in acoustic output toward the headstock and the player’s left side—areas aligned with typical listening positions. Specifically, sound projection increased by 16% upward, 8% to the left, and 1% downward.
“We’ve found that the Booster Soundport creates a more intimate connection between the player and their music by ensuring they hear every nuance clearer as they perform,” notes Pavel Hoffmann.
Petr Furch adds: “It brings that improved sound closer to your ears in a more accurate form. It’s ideal for anyone who wants to get the most out of their guitar, whether performing for an audience or playing for personal enjoyment.”
The first Furch guitars to feature the brand-new Booster Soundport are now available as part of the Blue Performance range — an exciting extension of the ever-popular Blue series.
This new line includes two fantastic models:
Blue Dc-EW Performance – Engelmann spruce top paired with beautiful black walnut back and sides.
Blue Dc-EM Performance – Engelmann spruce top with African mahogany back and sides.
Both guitars come fitted with the superb LR Baggs EAS-VTC pickup system with discreet soundhole-mounted controls, and each one includes a premium Furch gigbag as standard.
This is just the beginning — Furch will be introducing more models with the Booster Soundport very soon, and as always, I’ll make sure they’re available to try here first.
