Furch Blue OM CM (OM Body / Cedar / Mahogany) Acoustic Guitar (2025 CNR Active Upgrade Model)

Dopo aver trascorso ben 3 ore a suonare varie chitarre Furch Eastman e Dowina disponibili in negozio, ho continuato a tornare su due. Una bella Dowina (abete Moon/paduak) e quella che alla fine ho comprato, la Furch Blue Oc cm.
Mi ero dato un budget massimo di 2.000 sterline, il che significava che c'erano buone possibilità di scelta, ma la già citata Dowina purtroppo era un po' più alta.
Ma quello che avevo in mente prima ancora di arrivare al negozio era di acquistare una Furch con il nuovo sistema CNR ACTIVE e scoprire come suonavano le chitarre Furch con le mie orecchie e le mie dita.
Ecco quindi la mia opinione sulla Furch Blue Om c/m.
Non si tratta di una chitarra entry level, ma di una chitarra costruita con uno standard così elevato, anche senza alcuno sfarzo, che ha una bellezza tutta sua, e suona e suona in modo così bello.... Qualsiasi musicista professionista/studio sarebbe felice di suonare con questo strumento dal tono fantastico.
Inoltre, l'assoluta cordialità e professionalità che ho ricevuto come cliente da Richard's Guitars è stata una delizia, e un'esortazione speciale a Jake che, con la sola informazione che volevo una chitarra Om, ha tirato fuori la chitarra che ho finito per comprare dalle consegne fresche e l'ha preparata per il mio arrivo con altre 4 o 5 simili.
Cosa posso dire se non che sarà un ricordo caro che spero di ripetere nel prossimo futuro.

Questa è la mia prima chitarra Furch e sono molto soddisfatto del mio acquisto. È una delle loro chitarre di fascia di prezzo medio-bassa, ma suona altrettanto bene (o meglio) della mia Taylor 614ce e sicuramente suona meglio appena tolta dalla scatola. Negli ultimi anni, avendo acquistato anche strumenti Eastman, sono giunto alla conclusione che i produttori statunitensi non offrono nulla che giustifichi i loro prezzi.

I’ve only been playing guitar for about 3 yrs, my first a relatively cheap one which wasn’t easy to play, I replaced this with a Naked Venus mahogany which was a huge improvement on its predecessor and is still a great sounding, playable guitar but I developed a wandering eye and after many hours viewing Richard’s Guitars website and videos I decided it was time to buy a new one, with different woods etc. After much deliberation, and discussions and advice with Jon at Richard’s Guitars I decided upon the Furch Blue Deluxe GC-SW. This guitar feels gorgeous to the touch, looks amazing, and sounds incredible (especially when my guitar tutor plays it……..). I am extremely happy with everything about it. I absolutely love this guitar . Great guitar from a great company.

The guitar seems well made and stable. It also projects sound really well. Very happy with my purchase, as it is exactly what I had in mind. Something with a rich but focussed sound that would complement my voice.
I'm recording with it this very day so you should be able to hear it in action in the future (Eddie Mole on YT and Spotify)!

I was looking for an alternative to paying for a 'brand' to get a luxurious 12 string. Having already discovered a couple of alternatives previously, I searched for 'alternatives to Taylor' and Furch popped up, as recommended by Richards Guitars. So I went for it. Built to order and an amazin instrument. The staff at Richard's were great communicators and wow, what a guitar. Snapped a string this morning tuning though, but have barely put it down. Highly recommended.

Hi there Richards Guitars. The Furch Blue G SW tone is fabulous - rich and clear trebles and lovely strong bass tones. It is also a beautiful guitar to look at and v comfortable to hold and play. I love the Walnut grain on the back and sides and can only imagine how well the Spruce top will age over time. Basically its proving to be the perfect guitar for my finger picking choices and needs. The only other guitar I played years ago that came anywhere near close to it in tone terms was a 1960s Levin Goliath, but this Furch surpasses that in every respect.

Thank you Richards Guitars for also doing such a fabulous set up job and I have to say the service and support you have provided during the purchase has been impeccable. In this regard I would like to say many thanks to Jake and your support team as all their support, comment and inputs were invaluable.

If I could persuade my wife to let me come back for more I certainly would make you my first choice and port of call.
