Furch Blue OM CM (OM Body / Cedar / Mahogany) Acoustic Guitar (2025 CNR Active Upgrade Model)

Nachdem ich gut 3 Stunden damit verbracht hatte, verschiedene im Laden erhältliche Furch Eastman und Dowina Gitarren anzuspielen, kehrte ich immer wieder zu zwei zurück. Eine schöne Dowina (Mondfichte/Paduak) und das, was ich schließlich kaufte, die Furch Blue Oc cm.
Ich hatte mir ein Budget von bis zu 2.000 Pfund gesetzt, was bedeutete, dass mir eine gute Auswahl offenstand, die erwähnte Dowina lag leider etwas darüber.
Aber was ich im Sinn hatte, bevor ich im Laden ankam, war, eine Furch mit dem neuen CNR ACTIVE System zu kaufen und mit meinen eigenen Ohren und Fingern herauszufinden, wie Furch-Gitarren klingen und spielen.
Hier ist also meine Meinung über die Furch Blue Om c/m.
Dies ist KEINE Einstiegsgitarre, diese Gitarre ist auf einem so hohen Standard gebaut, auch ohne irgendwelche glitzernden Teile, sie hat eine ganz eigene Schönheit und klingt und spielt so schön.... Jeder Profi/Studiomusiker würde sich freuen, mit diesem fantastischen Instrument zu spielen.
Auch die absolute Freundlichkeit und Professionalität, mit der ich als Kunde bei Richard's Guitars empfangen wurde, war eine Freude, und ein besonderes Lob geht an Jake, der mit der bloßen Information, dass ich eine Gitarre in Om-Größe wollte, die Gitarre, die ich schließlich kaufte, aus den frischen Lieferungen herauszog und sie zusammen mit 4 oder 5 weiteren ähnlichen Gitarren für meine Ankunft bereit machte.
Was soll ich sagen, außer dass es eine schöne Erinnerung sein wird, die ich hoffentlich in naher Zukunft wiederholen werde.

Dies ist meine erste Furch-Gitarre und ich bin sehr zufrieden mit meinem Kauf. Sie ist im unteren/mittleren Preissegment angesiedelt, klingt aber genauso gut (oder besser) wie meine Taylor 614ce und spielt sich definitiv besser. Nachdem ich in den letzten Jahren auch Instrumente von Eastman gekauft habe, bin ich zu dem Schluss gekommen, dass die US-Hersteller einfach nichts anbieten, was ihre Preise rechtfertigt.

I’ve only been playing guitar for about 3 yrs, my first a relatively cheap one which wasn’t easy to play, I replaced this with a Naked Venus mahogany which was a huge improvement on its predecessor and is still a great sounding, playable guitar but I developed a wandering eye and after many hours viewing Richard’s Guitars website and videos I decided it was time to buy a new one, with different woods etc. After much deliberation, and discussions and advice with Jon at Richard’s Guitars I decided upon the Furch Blue Deluxe GC-SW. This guitar feels gorgeous to the touch, looks amazing, and sounds incredible (especially when my guitar tutor plays it……..). I am extremely happy with everything about it. I absolutely love this guitar . Great guitar from a great company.

The guitar seems well made and stable. It also projects sound really well. Very happy with my purchase, as it is exactly what I had in mind. Something with a rich but focussed sound that would complement my voice.
I'm recording with it this very day so you should be able to hear it in action in the future (Eddie Mole on YT and Spotify)!

I was looking for an alternative to paying for a 'brand' to get a luxurious 12 string. Having already discovered a couple of alternatives previously, I searched for 'alternatives to Taylor' and Furch popped up, as recommended by Richards Guitars. So I went for it. Built to order and an amazin instrument. The staff at Richard's were great communicators and wow, what a guitar. Snapped a string this morning tuning though, but have barely put it down. Highly recommended.

Hi there Richards Guitars. The Furch Blue G SW tone is fabulous - rich and clear trebles and lovely strong bass tones. It is also a beautiful guitar to look at and v comfortable to hold and play. I love the Walnut grain on the back and sides and can only imagine how well the Spruce top will age over time. Basically its proving to be the perfect guitar for my finger picking choices and needs. The only other guitar I played years ago that came anywhere near close to it in tone terms was a 1960s Levin Goliath, but this Furch surpasses that in every respect.

Thank you Richards Guitars for also doing such a fabulous set up job and I have to say the service and support you have provided during the purchase has been impeccable. In this regard I would like to say many thanks to Jake and your support team as all their support, comment and inputs were invaluable.

If I could persuade my wife to let me come back for more I certainly would make you my first choice and port of call.
