Furch Violet Deluxe Gc EM Engelmann Spruce Deluxe Acoustic Guitar (2025 CNR Active Upgrade Model)

I am blown away by the sound of this tiny guitar. I have had it for three weeks and not picked up any of my other guitars since (Martin/Faith/Yamaha). It is so easy to play and has a beautiful crisp clear sound. Also sounds amazing played through an acoustic amp. I am a beginner and my wife said that she couldn't believe that it was me playing!

So I've waited nearly a whole year before writing a review because I wanted to wait until the honeymoon phase was over...but it still isn't. I initially was going to get a spruce top blue series but I had a larger budget to play with just incase I fell in love with something else and a short version of the story is, I really fell in love with the Gc-CR.

The buying experiance was amazing, Beyond outstanding, No pressure sales tactics or any of that b/s just good advice and understanding of what I was looking for, In a lovely showroom full of luthier art & it was well worth the couple of hours drive!

I spent a few hours trying out different guitars, shapes, brands and giving feedback to Jake so he could understand what I was really looking for and the moment he placed that Yellow on the stand it was love at first note. I kept playing a few other guitars around the same budget but that Yellow Cedar top just spoke to me, It's so warm and beauitiful!! Even to this very day everytime I get it out of its case I just have a smile on my face from ear to ear, It has really inspired me to play alot more and just love it even more & In 30 years time I will look at that guitar and say "That was the best 2k I've ever spent".

Again a massive thank you to the whole team at Richards Guitars. Richard for all his hard work over the years and getting this brand known to people because I nearly bought a bloody Taylor before finding Richard on youtube but especially Jake who was looking after me that day and I had a wonderful time.

Après avoir passé trois bonnes heures à jouer sur les différentes guitares Furch Eastman et Dowina disponibles dans le magasin, je suis revenu sur deux d'entre elles. Une belle Dowina (Moon spruce/ Paduak) et ce que j'ai finalement acheté, la Furch Blue Oc cm.
Je m'étais fixé un budget allant jusqu'à £2000, ce qui signifiait qu'il y avait de bons choix possibles, la Dowina susmentionnée étant malheureusement un peu plus chère que cela.
Mais ce que j'avais en tête avant même d'arriver au magasin, c'était de chercher à acheter une Furch avec le nouveau système CNR ACTIVE en place et de découvrir comment les guitares Furch sonnaient et jouaient avec mes propres oreilles et mes propres doigts.
Voici donc mon avis sur la Furch Blue Om c/m.
Ce n'est pas une guitare d'entrée de gamme, cette guitare est construite à un niveau tellement élevé, même sans les éléments clinquants, elle a une beauté qui lui est propre, et elle sonne et joue si magnifiquement..... N'importe quel musicien professionnel ou de studio serait heureux de jouer avec cet instrument à la sonorité fantastique.
La convivialité et le professionnalisme dont j'ai bénéficié en tant que client chez Richard's Guitars ont été un vrai plaisir, et je tiens à féliciter tout particulièrement Jake qui, avec la seule information que je voulais une guitare de taille Om, a sorti la guitare que j'ai fini par acheter des nouvelles livraisons et l'a préparée pour mon arrivée avec 4 ou 5 autres similaires.
Qu'est-ce que je peux dire d'autre que ce sera un souvenir précieux que j'espère répéter dans un avenir proche.

C'est ma première guitare Furch et je suis ravi de mon achat. Elle se situe dans leur gamme de prix bas/moyen mais sonne aussi bien (voire mieux) que ma Taylor 614ce et joue nettement mieux dès sa sortie de la boîte. Ces dernières années, ayant également acheté des instruments Eastman, j'en suis venu à la conclusion que les fabricants américains n'offrent tout simplement rien qui justifie leurs prix.

The guitar plays beautifully. The service I received from Jon was amazing - he found the perfect guitar for me. The set up is an amazing service. As Arnie once said "I'll be back!"

The guitar seems well made and stable. It also projects sound really well. Very happy with my purchase, as it is exactly what I had in mind. Something with a rich but focussed sound that would complement my voice.
I'm recording with it this very day so you should be able to hear it in action in the future (Eddie Mole on YT and Spotify)!

The guitar is exactly what my husband needed. The fret board is just the right width and depth. Older fingers don't stretch quite the way they did. He has been a professional guitar player since the age of 16, all over the world and is now 82 - music never leaves you. Thank you so much for your help.

Purchased a Furch electro acoustic, very nicely set up and plays very well. My 2nd purchase from Richard, very happy again
