LAG Sauvage Auditorium Guitare acoustique

Initially very pleased with the finish however just recently I had occasion to practice under LED lighting and it was then I discovered a significant amount of very thin scratches / cracking of the lacquer, not quite sure which. If they are scratches it looks like they have been caused by a plectrum and as I don’t use one it has dampened my impression somewhat. I have attempted to take photos but they fail to show the problem.

Only praise as usual for Richard’s Guitars. Great service and always available for any questions. A fantastic guitar, Expertly set up, and reasonably priced. No doubt I’ll definitely back.

This Lag guitar is very good indeed, especially given that it is around the £600 price point; it sounds and plays better (to me), than a £2000 guitar in my possession, albeit not for much longer! It has a lovely tone, partly die to the cedar top, it projects very well and is tonally well balanced. If you're looking for a good guitar without having to pay a lot of money for it, I would thoroughly recommend a Lag.

Read great reviews regarding Richard’s Guitars, and wanted the T88ACE lefty. Advised stack was sporadic but they managed to get one for me. Had to wait for it if course, but came and I am completely happy with the purchase, service, setup, and communication with them. A pleasure to deal with and would highly reccomend them to anyone. J'avais un œil sur la série Sauvage Brankowood depuis qu'elle a été lancée. Elles ne sont pas disponibles en Nouvelle-Zélande.
L'équipe de Richards Guitars a méticuleusement préparé la guitare, ils étaient presque prêts à l'envoyer lorsqu'ils ont découvert un léger défaut, ils ont donc rejeté l'instrument original et ont recommencé avec un nouvel instrument. La guitare est arrivée sur le pas de ma porte dans un état impeccable. La boîte en carton a pris un petit coup quelque part sur la route, mais le sac Lag de très haute qualité l'a protégée de tout dommage.

Il est encore plus beau que sur les photos. Les côtés et le dos texturés lui confèrent un aspect tactile très agréable. Il se démarque visuellement de la foule. Il a une belle sonorité chaude et si vous avez besoin de faire du bruit, il peut augmenter le volume sans problème. Sa petite taille lui permet d'être plus facilement transportable.
J'aime beaucoup en jouer. Je me suis assis dehors pendant les chaudes soirées d'été, en jouant sur le balcon, il n'y a rien de mieux.

Ce sera un héritage à transmettre aux petits-enfants.

This was a new experience for me - a whole room full of guitars and me. Just me. Jake showed me four he had selected following my email and after a chat to find out more about what I wanted he left me to it.
It didn't take me too long to decide the LAG was the one for me. I'd almost made my mind up before I got there. It's beautiful to look at and a joy to play. It had its first outing last week when we played to a fellowship group at a retirement home.
I thought the guitar was playable as it was but Jake suggested I wait a week or so in order for the guitar tech to set it up to his standard. That was a long week but the guitar appeared, along with the case I bought, on the day specified. It was so highly polished I thought my wife was going to use it instead of a mirror. The set up was brilliant too.
I've watched many of Richard's videos over the years and I can confirm that his ethos and approach to his customers is copied by the other members of staff I saw. It was a short but enjoyable experience marred only by the fact that I had decided to visit Nellie's shop/cafe opposite after my purchase only to find it was closed for a private party. I'm not sure I can persuade my wife that another trip to Stratford to get the full experience is on the cards in the near future. However, whilst I don't have a bucket list I have had in mind a visit to Richard's Guitars for quite a while - cross that one off. Thank you to all who helped me decide which guitar to buy and what should happen to it before it came to me.

Great guitar - plays beautifully - just what I was looking for. My experience with Richard's Guitars was very positive - lots of communication and item was delivered when they said and was well packaged etc. Overall 5 out of 5

Brilliant customer service, prompt delivery and the guitar was set-up perfectly as per my requirements.
The LAG is a lovely guitar to play and it's just as described on the website...the tuners are quite unresponsive, but that's the only issue I have and I can live with that given the excellent price tag, but have deducted a star for this.
I would buy from Richard again without hesitation.... thanks for the great service.

Hi Richard , the guitar was purchased for a friend of mine who is a very competent guitar player . His first reaction was how well the guitar was finished , but what he kept saying is how well the guitar had been setup by yourself , as I know he is a perfectionist this is high praise indeed .
