Why?

Well here's the story - I will try and keep it brief!!

I have loved Furch guitars since the day I first opened one up maybe 20 years ago.  The UK distributor sent me a box of 6 guitars..  They were samples - and the Director of the Distributor valued my opinion and was looking for some feedback.  It was a moment I will never forget and have documented it in previous blogs.   The simple story is - I have been the UKs biggest dealer ever since - and experiencing Furch guitars completely changed my entire understanding of what a great acoustic guitar should / could sound like.

The flagship of the range was the 23 CR C  - and more specifically the G23 CRC (Grand Auditorium).  It was a life-changing experience that would shape my entire future in guitar retail.

When Furch brought out their new "Colors" range - I was left a little cold when I saw that the G23 CRC had now been named Yellow Gc CR and the beautiful inlays that I had considered as the heart of the guitars asthetic - now changed to a new O style fretboard inlay.

To my joy - Furch offered to continue providing me the Furch Yellow with the same inlays as I had come to love over the years - and this is why we are able to offer it to you at no extra charge!

The inlays are still available to purchase as a custom option within their configurator - but the baseline price of such a guitar would be £2500 and the inlays would be a premium charge - so what I can offer you is truly special - and will give your guitar genuine added value and exclusivity - not to mention a touch of nostalgia and Furch history in the mix!

As of this month, Furch have let me know that I can now offer the Yellow Deluxe models with this inlay too - as I had asked for it some time ago in order to keep the continuity within my Yellow range. 

So now - Furch Yellow & Yellow Deluxe - all come with these beautiful inlays from Richards Guitars - but obviously should you wish to have the regular inlays thats available too!
