Kremona Guitar Models. Hand Made Nylon String Guitars From Europe For 100 Years

Rondo & Romida

If you are looking for a Kremona guitar with a spruce top then the Rondo or Romida models would be an ideal starting point as both feature European Spruce - The Rondo combining Walnut back and sides for a beautifully clear and transparent tone (Watch the beautiful video demonstration here) whilst the Romida features the classic combo of Spruce & Rosewood.

Cedar is considered the "standard/traditional" choice of classic guitar top but really I do feel this is more tradition than any specific defined "improvement" of spruce over cedar.  Cedar, from the box will be warm - but spruce also becomes warmer over time - and for many the dynamic of spruce is very favorable.  However - saying that - Cedar is very much the choice of most classical players hence you will find it across the range in some form.
