Wow wow wow!!! News HOT off the press...

Just experienced my first ever Shergold SM02 solid body electric guitar. Not yet even on the market, I was given a privileged first view as they knew I have my eye on REAL quality.

It is SO refreshing to find a new brand in the market that has paid SO much attention to what feels like every aspect of the guitars design and build.

I won't be able to do justice to these guitars without showing you my own photos and unfortunately I wasn't able to take pictures but trust me - quality and finishing detail is second to none. It feels in every sense of the word - a boutique guitar.

Stand out features for me include the beautiful aluminium fret markers which are also along the top of the board for looking down, locking machine heads, Seymour Duncan pickups, beautifully hand polished rosewood neck, gorgeous quality body finish, lighter weight incredibly resonant mahogany body - SO balanced.

The guitar REALLY rings acoustically and whether this has anything to do with the Tele style bridge plate - who knows but I can tell you its a damned fine musical instrument and I know it will receive massive accolades when reviewers get their hands on one. But remember - you heard it here first!

It comes in 3 different pickup configurations - 3 single coils, HSS and Humbucker P90 formats which will suit a whole range of playing styles.

Anyway - I couldn't wait to tell you about them. It will be a little while before you see them in the showroom but expect to see them toward the end of February.

Although the price is not 100% confirmed I know I will be able to sell them at street price around the £800 mark.

A well made ,great sounding and high quality guitar

Sometimes buying a guitar online can be a disappointment ( I've been there on a few occasions) but not this time. The guitar is everything I expected and more . Even better , my guitar teacher was most impressed. A great sounding guitar. It came with a set of 12's but I changed them to 10's as they suit me better. Nice low action . Sustain was better than my Taylor 324e . All said and done a good purchase and was recommend Richards Guitars! Case was great too!

What an absolute stunner!

Eastman's Juliet felt "right" from the moment I picked it up. It arrived perfectly set up from Richards Guitars - and still in tune(!) despite changes of temperature and being bounced around by the courier. It's just about my ideal electric guitar - so comfortable and accurate to play, with beautifully articulate pickups and a very stable Bigsby to add subtle shimmers. It has a totally unique vibe all of its own which I really like, and yet it feels like a guitar that I've played for years and is a trusted go-to instrument.

My dream fulfilled

I wanted this guitar for 18 months before I ordered it. It’s not super-expensive but getting it to Australia really jacks up the cost. It was absolutely worth it though! I’ve already recorded my new single with the guitar. It’s great!

Puts a smile on my face!

My second guitar from Richards Guitars and I couldn’t be more delighted. I wanted a good quality guitar for everyday gigging. My trusty Yamaha APX500iiEW is a great workhorse but lacked the tone I wanted.
My Auden Chester Neo 45 is too good to be used on the road. The LAG T70 ACE fitted the bill perfectly. The clarity and brightness of sound from the spruce top is just what I wanted at an affordable price.
