Cort CR300

A stunning single cut from Cort (the manufacturer behind the PRS SE models and most of the other great guitars in the market) but what sets this model apart - beside its incredible quality, is its "RetroActive" EMG pickups for a beautiful articulate and punchy tonality - In to the idea of an affordable single cut? This has to be on your watch list.

Furch Eclipse Performance GC CR

Released at NAMM 2026 just days ago! What is there NOT to love? Has to be a modern stage performer classic!! With all solid woods and inlays as you will find on my exclusive yellow series - but with bevel duo, LR Baggs Stage Pro Anthem pickup and finished in.... well... thats the surpise. Check it out! This will put all other stage electros in the shade!

Kremona Soloist R65S-T

PLEASE JUST LOOK AT THE PHOTOS - I took them TODAY. If you are on the look out for a beautiful hand made nylon strung guitar - and want to keep the budget down - nothing else in the World will touch this. A one off (until my next one - which hopefully may come close - but never guarateed!)

Valiant Titan

What can I say about this - apart from I am probably keeping this for myself!! I was going to have the Soothsayer -but god I LOVE the tele style but if you know anything about these hand made masterpieces you will know every aspect of a Valiant is truly unique -from the feel - to the incredible switching for a truly diverse array of World Class tone. Please do check out the pics I took.

Vintage Industrial Punk Bubblegum Pink

Very sad to see the demise of the UK ownership of Vintage guitars - with the proshop closing a few weeks ago there will be no more of these - ever. These two are both beauties and I have a couple more I will maybe show you next week - and then thats it - the Vintage legacy is over. :(

Washburn R310 Victorian Parlor

Wonderful - Beautiful - Exactly what it says on the tin! If you want a beautiful and sympathetically styled parlor based on the original designs of the 1800s - you HAVE to look at this - Its GORGEOUS!!!!! Love it :). PLEASE just look at the pictures I took today for you.

Furch Blue OM CM

Have had the guitar now for about a week and as a beginner I know I have made the rights choice. I made a long journey to Richards Guitars because they were the only guitar store that provided what I needed.

That was being able to relax in a room where no other customers were there to disturb me and because I was a beginner it was great to be able to stumble through a few chords and listen to lots of guitars. Jon and Jake looked after me and Jake would pop in every so often just to see if I needed any help. I took advantage of his playing to narrow down which wood combination sounded right for me and the CM model was just right.

I can't thank the staff enough for their customer service and advice and if I get to the stage where I need another guitar I will certainly be visiting again no matter what the distance is.

Internet Purchase

I bought the guitar via the Internet. I know that's not the recommended way to do things but Lâg guitars have a good reputation, the model I bought sounded good on videos I'd seen and the free setup by Richards Guitars was far too tempting. I ordered it on Monday and it arrived on Wednesday of the following week. It plays beautifully. The tone is nice and rich, it has plenty of sustain and chimes like the church bells. It's made of sustainable wood, and built in an environmentally-friendly way.

Richards Guitars provided excellent service: their communication was faultless. I was asked how I would like the guitar to be set up prior to the work being carried out. It was despatched by DX who delivered it professionally and it arrived right in the centre of the delivery time slot.

I've been very impressed with every aspect of this purchase. Richards Guitars even planted a tree for me and removed a bottle from the ocean! They'd get 6 stars if I could award them. I'm a very happy customer.

Cort ESSENCE GA4 BTSG

This is my first accoustic guitar, after 3 years of playing classical spanish, and its taking a while to get used to playing in a different position. The sound from this guitar is wonderful the feel is different as it is bigger. I am really enjoying playing ans learning a new guitar. If you are thinking of buying a second guitar I would recommend this one.

I was lucky enough to receive this guitar as a gift from my girlfriend, it's a beautiful instrument, very comfortable, it feels and sounds amazing, it oozes quality and was perfectly set up by Richard's Guitars. I firmly believe guitars at this price point should include a gig bag, but that is a manufacturer issue. Highly recommended.

This is the most beautiful guitar I have ever seen or played and it's an absolute joy to play. The quality of the build and components is astonishing, and the attention to detail is something else. There is nothing out of place on this guitar.

The pick-up combination and selector switches offer a huge range of tones. To be honest this is all a bit overwhelming at the moment (2 weeks in) but I've settled on a lovely tone that will do me for now. I'm especially impressed with the single coil cleans. They're clear and ringing but at the same time have a warmth to them.

There are a bunch of reviews on-line about Valiant guitars and they're pretty much all gushing in their praise. They are absolutely right in my view.

My problem now is that I can't un-see what I've seen. This is the new standard. I'm already thinking how I can get enough money together to buy a Valiant Smith. Maybe I should trade all my other guitars!
