Keipro KJB-Standard-R ACT

The KJB-Standard-R ACT combines classic Jazz Bass styling with modern active electronics, versatile tonal control and premium construction. Built around a Mahogany body with a Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard, this bass delivers a warm, full-bodied tone with a solid midrange and plenty of versatility for both traditional and modern playing styles.

The Mahogany body provides a warm and powerful tonal foundation, producing a full, solid midrange that remains clear and articulate when using the active electronics. Its classic KJB-C1 body contour offers the familiar feel and balance of a traditional Jazz Bass, while the gloss finish and 3-ply Vintage White pickguard give the instrument a timeless appearance.

The Maple neck features a comfortable C Slim profile, while the Rosewood fingerboard has a 9.5" radius and 21 medium nickel frets for smooth and comfortable playability. White side dots and pearl fingerboard inlays provide clear visual reference points, while the 34" scale length delivers the familiar feel expected from a full-scale bass.

Equipped with YHL Neptune J76D-N and J76D-B single-coil pickups, the KJB-Standard-R ACT delivers the familiar character of a classic '60s Jazz Bass with enhanced clarity, warmer highs and more powerful lows. The active/passive switching allows you to move between a traditional passive response and a stronger active output, while the independent bass and treble controls provide extensive tonal shaping. The KMB4-1 bridge features a Zinc construction with Steel saddles, providing solid string stability and reliable performance.
