Keipro KJB5-Standard-R Act 3TS Bass Guitar

Keipro KJB5-Standard-R ACT

The KJB5-Standard-R ACT is a versatile 5-string bass that combines classic Jazz Bass styling with a warm Mahogany body, comfortable Maple neck and highly flexible active/passive electronics. Designed to retain the familiar character of a classic '60s Jazz Bass while offering modern tonal versatility, this bass provides a powerful and adaptable platform for players across a wide range of musical styles.

The Mahogany body provides a warm, full and solid tonal foundation, with a strong midrange presence that gives the KJB5-Standard-R ACT plenty of punch and depth. The classic KJB-C1 body contour offers the familiar Jazz Bass playing experience, while the gloss finish and vintage white 3-ply pickguard add to its timeless visual character.

The Maple neck features a comfortable C Slim profile with a satin finish, while the Rosewood fingerboard has a 9.5" radius and 21 medium nickel frets for smooth and comfortable playing. Pearl fingerboard inlays, white side dots and a satin-finished headstock with a gold logo complete the understated yet premium appearance. The 34" scale length provides the familiar feel expected from a full-scale 5-string bass.

Equipped with YHL Neptune 5J76D-N and 5J76D-B Alnico single-coil pickups, the KJB5-Standard-R ACT delivers a balanced and articulate response with classic Jazz Bass character. The active/passive switching gives you the flexibility to move between a warm, organic passive tone and a more powerful active sound, while the bass and treble controls provide additional tonal shaping. The passive mode is engaged by pulling the tone control, making it easy to switch between tonal modes while playing.

The KMB5-1 zinc bridge with steel saddles provides a solid and reliable foundation for excellent string vibration transfer, helping to deliver clear note definition, strong sustain and consistent performance. With its classic styling, versatile electronics and comfortable playability, the KJB5-Standard-R ACT is an adaptable 5-string bass designed for both studio recording and live performance.
