Cordial ECOHEMP – A Sincere Step Forward for the eco conscious among us.
It’s about time, isn’t it? For decades, guitar cables have all followed the same recipe: copper in the middle, PVC wrapped around the outside. Tough, flexible, reliable — But PVC just doesn’t recycle properly.
Cordial have done something about it. As a pioneer in cable production for 25+ years, they’ve ditched PVC completely and replaced it with something genuinely sustainable — TPE-V. It’s every bit as tough and flexible, but lighter, recyclable, and far kinder to the planet.
Here’s why I think this is such a big deal:
No PVC, fully recyclable
25% lighter than the old stuff
Made in Europe, so supply chains stay short and clean
Lower energy consumption during production
For every cable sold, a tree is planted with TREES (Trees for the Future) (and thats before you get the tree to plant from us too!!!)
Wrapped in a GOTS-certified hemp jacket
Even the packaging is recycled cardboard
They’ve called the new line ECOCORD, and this EcoHemp cable is the first in that range. I think it’s a brilliant move — a cable that’s built to the same high standard Cordial are known for, but with genuine sustainability at its heart.
Awesome job Cordial!!
