Valiant Jupiter, Ginger Cream Gloss Electric Guitar

This is the most beautiful guitar I have ever seen or played and it's an absolute joy to play. The quality of the build and components is astonishing, and the attention to detail is something else. There is nothing out of place on this guitar.

The pick-up combination and selector switches offer a huge range of tones. To be honest this is all a bit overwhelming at the moment (2 weeks in) but I've settled on a lovely tone that will do me for now. I'm especially impressed with the single coil cleans. They're clear and ringing but at the same time have a warmth to them.

There are a bunch of reviews on-line about Valiant guitars and they're pretty much all gushing in their praise. They are absolutely right in my view.

My problem now is that I can't un-see what I've seen. This is the new standard. I'm already thinking how I can get enough money together to buy a Valiant Smith. Maybe I should trade all my other guitars!

Several weeks on now from buying a beautiful Valiant Soothsayer guitar from Richard's guitars .

Sometimes in life you just feel compelled and drawn to something, you can't explain why rationally , and so it was with the Soothsayer.

Whatever I write here will likely not do this sublime guitar justice. Everything about it is perfection , the attention to detail, the quality, the feel, the sound, the stability.
The Soothsayer is more compact than a standard strat and lighter too but with a very solid feel that seems to just tuck into the body. After a while if feels like an extension of yourself. . The playability of the neck is awesome, encouraging a more adventurous style of play. You feel like you want to push yourself and the guitar as it seems to have no limits to its versatility. The sound quality of the single coils , so clear and each with beautiful resonance and clarity.
One thing that is essential in such a guitar for me is the stability. In previous fender strats I owned, the tremolo system always compromised the tuning stability of the instrument. Not here, not at all.

This guitar, for me, is the final, definitive answer to the strat design. Improved and surpassed .
Well named too as this beautiful guitar seems to posess a kind of futuristic magic.

I am looking forward to many, many years playing this truly exceptional instrument.

This is the best experience I had ever in purchasing something. I am a novice guitarist, and while I did my research, there were many things I did not know. There isn’t much information about this bass anywhere, So it was a bit of a leap of faith, based on Valiants reputation, and it being really in a class of one.
It feels much more familiar, being closer to the scale length of a guitar, than the usual 30” short scale basses, or the 23” ukulele basses.
The neck is sublime, very comfortable in the hand with perfectly rolled edges. Fit, finish and attention to detail is all equally impressive.
Touches like the clever adjustable brass nut, wood covered pickups, and inlaid control **** are pleasing. -As is it’s light weight.
The sound is both rich and versatile.
I consider it to be a bargain at the price.
If you are a guitarist looking for a premium bass that will feel familiar, for recording, or playing on a couch. This one will surprise you by making you want to pick it up more often than you’d expected.
