R Guitar Custom #1 Has found a new home.

Well I couldn't have found a more fitting home for my first ever R Custom. 

2 years ago a retired gentleman visted my showroom and felt compelled to tell me that his next guitar would be from me.  Well 2 days ago he returned and reminded me of his promise and that he was back to fulfull it.

He had his eyes on the R Guitar and as I said to him it would be a blessing to have my first guitar go to him.  I was always going to find it hard to release my number 1!  So I am SO pleased it is going to someone who appreciates the point of the guitar.  As he said he knew that if I put my name to it - it would be worth every penny and I won't let him down.

As a lover of jazz guitar we are getting Aaron Armstrong to hand wind a couple of mellow jazz pickups.

I will bring photos when the guitar has been completed which will be a few weeks yet before I have to say goodbye to my #1
