The Acus ONEFORSTREET series is purpose-built for acoustic performers who need professional sound quality on the move.
Each model delivers rich, natural tone for vocals and acoustic instruments — with the convenience of battery or mains power, making them ideal for busking, street performance, outdoor gigs, and small venues.
Yes. All Acus ONEFORSTREET amps can run on Makita 18 V lithium batteries (3.0 Ah to 6.0 Ah) — widely available and easily swappable.
Each also ships with a mains power adapter, so you can plug in when available.
If you’ll be performing in places with heavy background noise (like city centres or seafronts), the 8 or 10 will give you more projection and cleaner tone at higher volumes.
ONEFORSTREET 5 → up to 5 hours
ONEFORSTREET 8 → around 3–4 hours
ONEFORSTREET 10 → around 2.5–3 hours
(actual runtime depends on volume and load)
Yes, all models let you connect a microphone and an instrument simultaneously.
The ONEFORSTREET 10 offers an extra input channel for a second instrument or vocal, making it ideal for duos or solo artists using multiple sources (e.g. guitar + loop pedal + mic).
The 5 and 8 feature a high-quality reverb effect for natural space and warmth.
The 10 adds chorus, delay, and compression, plus a 3-way tone voicing switch (Flat / Bass / Jazz) for shaping your sound.
All three One For Street models by Acus include Bluetooth and AUX inputs, allowing you to stream or connect backing tracks from a phone, tablet, or player.
Yes. Each amp includes a balanced XLR Direct Out, so you can:
ONEFORSTREET 5: 7 kg — light enough for effortless street travel.
ONEFORSTREET 8: 9.5 kg — still easily manageable, with noticeably more body and projection.
ONEFORSTREET 10: 11 kg — compact yet full-featured, best for musicians prioritising power over portability.
That depends on your needs:
If you’re unsure, most players find the 8 to be the “sweet spot” — light enough to carry, powerful enough for almost any solo or duo acoustic act.
Acus amps stand out for their studio-quality acoustic tone — transparent, warm, and natural, with true bi-amplified circuitry and wood cabinets (not plastic).
They deliver a far more “live acoustic” sound than typical busking amps, making them popular among serious acoustic musicians and singer-songwriters.

Lovely guitar, beautifully set up. Many thanks.
After 20 years of only playing acoustic I decided to bite the bullet.. This is my second guitar purchase from Richard having bought a Furch several years ago. My FGN arrived in immaculate condition and beautifully set up playing perfect right out of the box. I was set on wanting a telecaster style guitar but after playing a number of fenders was always left disappointed. The quality of the Japanese craftsmanship cannot be overstated. In terms of how it plays it has a very flat fretboard which is a big plus for me and it does weigh a little more than average for a t style guitar but I guess thats what you get with solid ash bodies. At £849 including the full workshop setup this guitar is an absolute steal. I will enjoy playing it for many years to come.
