" From the new G&L Tribute Fallout (shocking that this can be under £400?!) through to classics like the Tribute Legacy, S500 and ASAT series - G&L Tribute surpass anything you will find from Fender at the price.  Unlike Fender if you buy a Legacy or ASAT this will have the same pickups as found on their custom built USA models.  Considering a Mexican made Fender?  Why?  I know the Fender name is a powerful pull but remember, Leo Fender died producing G&L guitars, not Fender and G&L live closer to the Leos ethos that Fender do. With Leo it was always about the guitar - not the marketing. "
