General build is OK, pickups OK, pots and toggle switch are awful cheap stuff. Stays in tune and sounds pretty good though. Quite a few sounds to be had because of the switching. Like it.

Simply great shit guitar

The appeal of a Dano is it’s cheap and nasty sound. It may well be made from plywood but with a bit of dirt it sounds like nothing else. Despite its cheap and nasty rep it certainly doesn’t feel or play that way - I suspect that’s because of the expert setup you get from Richards Guitars. One tip - you will struggle to get a dedicated hardcase for it; however I found that a hiscox standard bass case with a bit of one of those kids swimming aids to pad it out at the bottom is a perfect fit.
