Received my new Furch Blue OM Cm last week, love it. Arrived perfectly after a great setup from the team their. It's a been a great experience from day one, a private appointment to play a number of models and great support especially from Jake who was happy to help and advise without any pressure. I also had an Epiphone ES335 which I needed setting up and repairing, Jake was helpful throughout with quick support replying to my multiple emails. I ordered my Furch Blue BARc SW back in January; Furch's quoted build time was accurate, and I collected the beast on 11th April. I left it until now to write a review as I wanted to test it both at home, and a a live gig, which is why I bought it.
It does exactly what I wanted it to do, delivering playability and lush tone, without any of the 'slack string intonation' issues that one can find when dropping a full step down on a guitar that's not designed for that.

What is especially pleasing though is the sheer beauty of this instrument; the Walnut back and sides are highly figured and very dark, and it's as good to look at as it is to play. Anyone wondering if they might be better served, aesthetically speaking, by ordering a Yellow BARc should give pause for thought - this Walnut is a joy to behold.

As always, my sincere thanks to Jon, Jake and Chris for their unending support and good humour; it's always a pleasure to be in your company, and thank you again for this amazing guitar.

Have had the guitar now for about a week and as a beginner I know I have made the rights choice. I made a long journey to Richards Guitars because they were the only guitar store that provided what I needed.

That was being able to relax in a room where no other customers were there to disturb me and because I was a beginner it was great to be able to stumble through a few chords and listen to lots of guitars. Jon and Jake looked after me and Jake would pop in every so often just to see if I needed any help. I took advantage of his playing to narrow down which wood combination sounded right for me and the CM model was just right.

I can't thank the staff enough for their customer service and advice and if I get to the stage where I need another guitar I will certainly be visiting again no matter what the distance is.

After spending a good 3 hours playing various Furch Eastman and Dowina guitars available in the shop I kept returning to two. A lovely Dowina (Moon spruce/ Paduak) and what I eventually bought, the Furch Blue Oc cm.
Now I’d given myself a budget of up to £2000 which meant there were good choices open to me, the aforementioned Dowina unfortunately was a little over that.
But, what if had in mind before I’d even arrived at the shop was to looking to buy a Furch with the new CNR ACTIVE system in place and find out how Furch guitars sounded and played with my own ears, and fingers.
So here is my opinion on the Furch Blue Om c/m.
This is NO entry level guitar, this guitar is built to such a high standard, even without any glitzy bits, this has a beauty all its own, and sounds and plays so beautifully…. Any professional/studio musician would be happy to be playing with this fantastic tone instrument.
Also the absolute friendliness and professionalism I received as a customer at Richard’s Guitars was a delight, and special shout out to Jake who with only the information of me wanting an Om size guitar Pulled the guitar I ended up buying out of the fresh deliveries and set it up ready for my arrival with another 4 or 5 similar ones.
What can I say other than it will be a cherished memory that I hope to repeat in the near future.

This is my first Furch guitar and I’m delighted with my purchase. This is one in their low/mid price range but sounds as good (or better) than my Taylor 614ce and quite definitely plays better straight out of the box. In the past few years having also purchased Eastman instruments I have come to the conclusion that US manufacturers just don’t offer anything to justify their pricing.

Build quality superb for price point. Tone is perfect for my ear. This guitar sings with ease. Very happy with my purchase. Richards guitars was a lovely experience I would highly recommend to anyone looking to purchase a new guitar. Many thanks Les wight

I spent a long time looking at different shops and also trying to understand what guitar would probably suit me best. I lost count of the number of times I was drawn to Richards Guitars website and it soon became pretty clear from the various videos and testimonials that this was the shop I wanted buy from. The experience was excellent. Based on my detailed emails, Jake selected six grand auditorium guitars for me to try from Furch and Auden. The studio was mine for three hours. They were all fab in their own way, but when I picked up the final guitar I knew within minutes this was the one for me. I had expected to be walking away with a Furch blue with a spruce top, but the mellow sound of the cedar and mahogany combination on the Blue Gc-CM was beautiful - to my ears at least. I was keen on the bevels for comfort since I sit to play much of the time, so Jake found the deluxe version to play and it was perfect for me. They added a pick-up with free fitting, as well as giving me a two-way humidity control pack. Although the courier had a slight hiccup in delivery, Jon and the team kept me informed every step of the way - nothing was too much trouble. Thank you guys - I am looking forward to visting later in the year for the free check up.

I recently purchased a used Furch GC-CM from Richard’s Guitars. I received truly excellent customer service. The team set up the guitar for me to try, along with some others at the same price. We had a good chat about what I was looking for, then I was left alone to try the guitars for as long as I wanted. I felt really at ease and all of my questions were answered. I’ve only been playing guitar for about 3 yrs, my first a relatively cheap one which wasn’t easy to play, I replaced this with a Naked Venus mahogany which was a huge improvement on its predecessor and is still a great sounding, playable guitar but I developed a wandering eye and after many hours viewing Richard’s Guitars website and videos I decided it was time to buy a new one, with different woods etc. After much deliberation, and discussions and advice with Jon at Richard’s Guitars I decided upon the Furch Blue Deluxe GC-SW. This guitar feels gorgeous to the touch, looks amazing, and sounds incredible (especially when my guitar tutor plays it……..). I am extremely happy with everything about it. I absolutely love this guitar . Great guitar from a great company.

The guitar seems well made and stable. It also projects sound really well. Very happy with my purchase, as it is exactly what I had in mind. Something with a rich but focussed sound that would complement my voice.
I'm recording with it this very day so you should be able to hear it in action in the future (Eddie Mole on YT and Spotify)!
