Following a few trial scenarios with our lovely "guinea pigs" (thats customers!!) it became clear it would be helpful to our customers that should they wish to they could pop back in and upgrade at a later date?

Thats right - EVEN IF you decide against the upgrade when you buy the guitar - you can still return it for the upgrade - later on!

Sooo..... I thought.... hell yes! Thats a wonderful idea.

ANYTHING that works for our customers and is "feasible" is more than fair by me so here is the new development.

We offer a 6 and 12 month check and reset completely free of charge - and if during the first checkup at 6 months you decide you would like to have your guitar fully setup? We will do it for the £45 instead of the £85 charge we would normally charge a private customer and we will pop on the "Vintage Custom Pro" sticker decal as a proud display of its upgraded status in life :)

If you REALLY REALLY REEEEALLY want to take advantage of the cheapest possible price :) then you could do the following....

Visit our showroom and experience all the "custom pro" standard models.

Go home and order the guitar you want online which of course will be way cheaper because its now Vintage "direct" pricing.

Have the guitar delivered to US - not your home.

Collect the guitar from US and IF when you collect the guitar you think "hmmm.... I reckon I would like the setup after all" - No problem. We will upgrade the guitar for you at this point at the £45 price.

Remember also - even if you decide against the setup on the day - you can also upgrade the guitar at the 6 month mark as mentioned above.

Sometimes buying a guitar online can be a disappointment ( I've been there on a few occasions) but not this time. The guitar is everything I expected and more . Even better , my guitar teacher was most impressed. A great sounding guitar. It came with a set of 12's but I changed them to 10's as they suit me better. Nice low action . What an absolute stunner!

Eastman's Juliet felt "right" from the moment I picked it up. It arrived perfectly set up from Richards Guitars - and still in tune(!) despite changes of temperature and being bounced around by the courier. It's just about my ideal electric guitar - so comfortable and accurate to play, with beautifully articulate pickups and a very stable Bigsby to add subtle shimmers. It has a totally unique vibe all of its own which I really like, and yet it feels like a guitar that I've played for years and is a trusted go-to instrument.

My dream fulfilled

I wanted this guitar for 18 months before I ordered it. It’s not super-expensive but getting it to Australia really jacks up the cost. It was absolutely worth it though! I’ve already recorded my new single with the guitar. It’s great!

My second guitar from Richards Guitars and I couldn’t be more delighted. I wanted a good quality guitar for everyday gigging. My trusty Yamaha APX500iiEW is a great workhorse but lacked the tone I wanted.
My Auden Chester Neo 45 is too good to be used on the road. The LAG T70 ACE fitted the bill perfectly.
