The Vintage V100 series guitars are undgergoing "at best" a change of ownership and at worst "retirement". Regardless of the outcome, due to the 30 years invested and awareness of the hugely variable quality over the years - some wonderful and some ....well not so wonderful.... I have decided I will be retiring my involvement regardless of the outcome as I know in my heart that I cannot personally continue to invest the energy and passion into a brand that I cannot believe will live up to my personal standards - and every single guitar brand I promote is one of a personal belief and conviction.
If they prove me wrong? Wonderful - and maybe they would even welcome me back (I remember the same happening with Gordon Smith guitars - very similar circumstances when I think about it? How odd....)
The good news? Cort guitars have been a top personal recommendation for 30 years and whilst their guitars are very slightly more expensive, they are in a whole different class of instrument.
I can now enjoy focusing on one thing well than spreading myself between two brands. I have always had a very personal connection with both brands and whilst sad to see Vintage go - It is also somewhat of a reief I have to say :(
If you were looking for a Vintage V100 Les Paul? Whilst they continue to give the illusion of all things being "as normal" - I would argue they are anything but and this picture is painted to enable themselves best opportunity of finding a buyer - but I personally dont want to sell guitars which I cannot provide a full manufacturer backed guarantee - or even know how the new ownership would support it if one existed - and my advice would be for you to consider this too.

After 20 years of only playing acoustic I decided to bite the bullet.. This is my second guitar purchase from Richard having bought a Furch several years ago. My FGN arrived in immaculate condition and beautifully set up playing perfect right out of the box. I was set on wanting a telecaster style guitar but after playing a number of fenders was always left disappointed. The quality of the Japanese craftsmanship cannot be overstated. In terms of how it plays it has a very flat fretboard which is a big plus for me and it does weigh a little more than average for a t style guitar but I guess thats what you get with solid ash bodies. At £849 including the full workshop setup this guitar is an absolute steal. I will enjoy playing it for many years to come.
