Everything Right......Almost too good.

In hand for a week and it is true love no BS, small slope shoulders are now my love affair apparently, super comfortable and so well balanced and comfortable on the knee, I cannot compare the Eastman to its G counterpart but comparing to other acoustics I have had of different dimensions from the T and M brands that cost two to three times as much I am far happier with this, a keeper! that term 'keeper' can be a thrown around too easily a throw away comment to easily said/used but not in this case for me this is fact, the guitar is alive to the point of ridiculousness its so good, and the old school worn in vibe done amazingly well I might add is just the worn in cherry on top, been through so many guitars at much higher price points that fell flat and left disappointment this is not that, its like the most perfect worn in slippers, perfect in every way. No musical adjectives required about how it rings out for days, its an airy piano bell a very comfy one and I am so glad I found it. Thanks for the service, my better half loves this so much too, I want to buy her an E10P in the same finish without a pickguard for a special Birthday can you make that happen, challenge accepted? TLTR silly bloody good buy one and buy one from Richard.

Bear with me - there's a point to this.

I was first drawn to Richard's guitars by the rambling videos Richard posts - his boyish excitement and enthusiasm, and unerring desire to unload his stream of consciousness reviews is a welcome alternative to the rehearsed and carefully scripted approach from other online sellers. Watching some reviews and chatting online to Richard I was steered towards Eastman guitars. Eventually, I opted for the E1000ss/v and I placed my order. I live in Ireland and a few days after I ordered the guitar, the country began to close down. I'm a teacher and my school was closed. Pubs and restaurants and shops were closed. Panic buying and supply chain disruption began. I began to imagine the worst and so sought reassurance from Richard's Guitars that my guitar would be able to be delivered. I sent e mails, online chat messages and made phone calls but could not seem to get any response. I began to question the authenticity of Richard's Guitars mantra about commitment to customer service and insistence on excellent customer care. I began to get anxious. I should add that this lasted less than 24 hours. After reassurance from Sally; a pep talk from Teresa, a promise from Richard and an apology from Jon - all of whom were in contact with me, my guitar was dispatched well within the timeframe originally quoted, and it arrived three days later. And it is beautiful. And it sounds so much better than I had hoped. And I'm staring at it as I type. And Richard has proved his commitment to excellence. Thank you to Richard and all your team who were unfailingly polite, helpful and patient with me as used them like counsellors over the last week. The product and the service are, most deservedly and unquestionably, five star. There you go - I got to my point at last.

Stunning sound and great to play. The sound is perfectly balanced between base and treble. Very loud and lively, responds very well to finger picking, but doesn't distort when strummed vigorously. Intonation is good all the way up the next.
The sound is on the Gibson spectrum, with perhaps a little more top end. The playing feel is Gibson-esque too.

1st rate service again from Richard. Guitar is immaculate and a tone monster right out of the case. Great customer service again from Richard, a pleasure to purchase from. I would not buy from any other dealer now. Can't believe the standard of this guitar for the price, to me it's a 1/4 of the cost for the build quality. Cheers again Richard.
