Keipro KJB Custom-R Act BK Bass Guitar

Keipro KJB-Custom ACT

The KJB-Custom ACT is a versatile bass that combines classic styling with modern performance and tonal flexibility. Built around an Alder body, Canadian Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard, this bass delivers a balanced, resonant and articulate tone with a familiar playing feel.

The Alder body provides a well-balanced tonal foundation, with a strong and clear midrange that works beautifully across a wide range of musical styles. Finished in a classic gloss finish and paired with a 3-ply red tortoise shell pickguard, the KJB-Custom ACT has a timeless look while offering plenty of modern performance.

The Canadian Maple neck features a comfortable C Slim profile, while the Rosewood fingerboard has a 9.5" radius and 21 medium frets for smooth and comfortable playing. Luminous side dots with brass rings also provide excellent visibility on darker stages.

Equipped with YHL Neptune J85WD-N and J85WD-B pickups, the KJB-Custom ACT delivers the familiar character of a classic '60s Jazz Bass with a hotter, more powerful output. The versatile active/passive circuit gives you two distinct tonal modes, allowing you to switch between a traditional passive response and a more powerful active sound.

The brass bridge with stainless steel saddles provides excellent string vibration transfer, helping to deliver strong sustain, a solid note core and clear harmonic detail. With its classic design, versatile electronics and comfortable playing feel, the KJB-Custom ACT is equally suited to studio recording, live performance and everything in between.
