Lag TRAVEL-SPS Spruce Sauvage Highlights

We were having a few days away in Stratford upon Avon so booked to visit Richard’s guitars. Easy to arrange and fabulous service from start to finish. So Lynn played with some selected guitars and while we did that we had her fender set up correctly as it was only a few months old but Lynn felt it wasn’t right and my god the difference is unbelievable. Where it was going out of tune constantly and had buzz fret It’s brilliant now. While there after trying different guitars we bought a Lag which was again professionally set up and sent to us a week later. Again brilliant service

Initially very pleased with the finish however just recently I had occasion to practice under LED lighting and it was then I discovered a significant amount of very thin scratches / cracking of the lacquer, not quite sure which. If they are scratches it looks like they have been caused by a plectrum and as I don’t use one it has dampened my impression somewhat. I have attempted to take photos but they fail to show the problem.

Only praise as usual for Richard’s Guitars. Great service and always available for any questions. A fantastic guitar, Expertly set up, and reasonably priced. No doubt I’ll definitely back.

This Lag guitar is very good indeed, especially given that it is around the £600 price point; it sounds and plays better (to me), than a £2000 guitar in my possession, albeit not for much longer! It has a lovely tone, partly die to the cedar top, it projects very well and is tonally well balanced. If you're looking for a good guitar without having to pay a lot of money for it, I would thoroughly recommend a Lag.

Read great reviews regarding Richard’s Guitars, and wanted the T88ACE lefty. Advised stack was sporadic but they managed to get one for me. Had to wait for it if course, but came and I am completely happy with the purchase, service, setup, and communication with them. A pleasure to deal with and would highly reccomend them to anyone. I have had my eye on Sauvage Brankowood series since they were introduced. They are not available in N.Z.
The team at Richards Guitars meticulously setup the guitar, they were almost ready to send it when they discovered a slight flaw so they rejected the original instrument and started again with a new one. It arrived on my doorstep in pristine condition. The cardboard box took a bit of a hit somewhere on route, however the super high-quality Lag gig bag protected it from any damage.

It looks even better than in the photographs. The textured sides and back give it a very pleasing and tactile appearance. It visually stands out from the crowd. It has a beautiful warm tone and if you need to create some noise it can crank out the volume, no problem. It's smaller size make it easier take places.
I am really enjoying playing it. I've been sitting outside in the warm summer evenings, playing it on the balcony, doesn't get much better.

It will be an heirloom to pass on to the grandchildren.

Was looking for a quality electro acoustic guitar at the price I could afford for ages. I stumbled across Richards Guitar webpage on YouTube and began watching & listening to his videos. After watch 3/4 videos I was convinced the the guitars and service offered was for me. On Hons advice I bought a Tramadore T880 and since I received it have played it joyfully every day. This is the third guitar I have bought from Richards Guitars. The speed of service was excellent as always and the guitar itself offers tremendous quality of build together with incredible technology. It is hard to put down as it plays like a dream and the effects are incredible
