An amazing guitar. It's our first venture into stepping up to a good one and coming to you guys was bang on .
The guitar sounds amazing through our Fishman amp, it's certainly opened up a new chapter in our playing .

Do not fear! I think this may help.
If there's ever a "danger zone" in you becoming the next rock guitar virtuoso - its the mental strength you need to keep you going whilst you get the first chords "down".
You are not yet sounding musical - and its tough.... real tough.... whilst even you find it hard to appreciate the noises you are making!
THIS is that dangerous moment in time when it can all feel like you were not set out to be the next rock god.
The answer... TURN YOUR MIND OFF
No matter how much I tell you that you that you LITERALLY cannot fail (if you apply yourself, even for just a couple of minutes every day, which is all it takes - trust me - see? You are already doubting me!!! Shame on you!) - we all tend to have a built-in "crap factor" that tells us so many lies - and undermines our own natural capacity to adapt - which if our minds kept out of it - we all would!
Nothing will stop you learning your first guitar chord - and if you want this - its yours.
So - how do we get you to the other side of that danger zone - in one piece - with a few guitar chords in your armoury, inspired and ready for action!!
Well, for this video, I had a good think about what chord really gives you the best bang for your buck and I concluded it could well be the good old D Major Chord
The intro to the video gives you a good feel of where I am going with this one, and you will see it can be used in so many different ways with very subtle variances that I introduce you to along the way.
I will pop the chord shapes on to this page when I have time, but they are all shown in the video.
I promise - your body will adapt, the chords will come - you cannot fail - and your'e going to be awesome!!!
We all have to start somewhere but the D Major chord, I think it can inspire you with all its relatively straight forward changes you can make to the chord which your ear will enjoy - as once you introduce these variances, it immediately sounds more like MUSIC - than just a chord - and is easier than learning 3 or 4 totally separate chords - thus.... keeping you inspired and through that early days danger zone!
