I bought this to replace a Furch Blue guitar which had developed a buzz caused by a loose brace. Richard and Jake were really helpful and repsonsive in dealing with this and after another fantastic day trying out guitars I decided to upgrade with a fair trade-in to the new Furch Green 2026 model with a torrified Spruce top. I think Furch are onto a winner with this model. Sitting below the Yellow series guitars in price, in my opinion it offers similar, albeit slightly different, quality in sound and playability compared to its more pricey sister range.

Well set up instrument, excellent packaging and really quick delivery. I had one question and got a reply within 10min everything perfect. Customer service perfect. I will certainly recommend.

Id read mixed reviews but I like to make my own mind up. Richard was initially a bit prickly and defensive on the chat line, but I believe he has had a lot of **** over the years, so I let that go . I'm glad I did, the guys in the shop were helpful , sent the guitar exactly when they said they would , set up and ready to play . Excellent service , recommended !

Very pleased and impressed with the Blue Performance. Although I was unable to play before purchasing, a phone call to Richards answered all my questions and confirmed my thinking.
It plays superbly, with a lovely even tone - bright but not brassy, with a deep bass end, something I think is enhanced by the sound ports. The bevels make for comfortable playing, and it looks gorgeous. A real winner.

Hi , fabulous guitar , perhaps not quite as loud acoustically as I was expecting , but a beautiful tone and very responsive to touch . The amplified sound is stunning . Much easier to play than my concert guitar which is a traditional build , of exceptional high spec . My only minor criticism is of the battery holder , which came un stuck . Managed to re attach it with new Velcro , but am a little concerned at how awkward it will be to change the battery when needed .Looking forward to using the Furch in a new Latin project in the new year . Just bought a Furch Blue Deluxe guitar and decided to treat myself to the case designed to go with it. When they both arrived I spent at least 15 minutes drooling over the case, it’s quality, the padding, the pockets - so many pockets - the feel of the lining even the quality of the zip! I was so delighted with the case I forgot to look at the guitar!

Specifying and ordering a guitar is a nervous business, where you cross fingers that you will receive as good a guitar as advertised. E.g. I specified a slightly wider nut. The guitar is exactly what my husband needed. The fret board is just the right width and depth. Older fingers don't stretch quite the way they did. He has been a professional guitar player since the age of 16, all over the world and is now 82 - music never leaves you. Thank you so much for your help.

This guitar is absolutely sublime. I have had some less than average experience of nylon stringed guitars in the past but I do love their sound and tone.
I sought advice from Jake who had all the time in the world to address my concerns and hesitations.
Having played this guitar I can state, without reservation, that his counsel was absolutely spot on.
The walnut / cedar combination provides a far better tone that I could have hoped for, the articulation is amazing and the guitar is beautiful in every way.
The set up is perfect, when it arrived the outside temperature was just about freezing but after tuning up once the guitar stayed in tune! This is remarkable with brand new nylon strings (which can act like elastic bands).
First class instrument from a team that provide works class service.
Now I need to go and search for a tab for Stanley Myers’s Cavatina!

I cannot fault the service I received from Richards Guitars; Jake and Jon made themselves available at all times for any queries. These guys Love Guitars as much as their customers and that shows in their attention to detail and the expertise they were keen to share in order to ensure I got the guitar I wanted and needed. The GN4CR is a stunning addition to my little collection of guitars, and is my second Furch from Richards Guitars, who provided great service yet again. The GN4CR sounds gorgeous, and has added a completely different (and authentic?) sound to my handful of classical pieces that I was previously playing on a Furch Red Master's Choice.

As ever Ricahrds guitars come up trumps. I needed an easier to play nylon strin guitar as the typical classical profile is too large for small (and old!) hands.
The guys made suggestions sorted out two to try and the final result was a purchase of a a Furch.
The guitar is great but the service from Richards guitars even better.

I took a chance having never played a nylon guitar and didn't want a wide neck. Well what wonder instrument, so versatile and easy to play. Sounds excellent with plectrum or fingers. My second Furch purchase beautifully made and finished.

Richard Guitars were easy to deal with and I'm super happy with the Furch. It's a beautiful instrument and I'm so pleased I decided to go for a hybrid rather than a classical guitar.

The service provided was excellent especially since , thanks to covid, I had the shop to myself. I am very happy with the Furch . Due to an injury to my left arm and shoulder I could not handle my Ramirez and reluctantly sold it. The Furch is very playable, is well built and the sound is very good for the price.

It is only a couple of months since I bought my now beloved Furch Yellow GcCR from Richard and the team so it might seem extravagant to be buying another Furch so soon. Actually, it is simply a reflection of just how knocked out I am by the quality and value for money that Furch offer, plus the fantastic service that Richard and the team provide. I love my steel stringed guitars but I actually learned to play on nylon, listen to a lot of classical guitar and simply love playing nylon, especially as I am more at home with a finger-picking style of playing...I am rubbish with a pick. But, the wide-necked, high-auctioned beast that I learned on would be a bit like hard work for my old, mangled, farmer hands so I wondered whether a ‘hybrid’ or ‘cross-over’, with characteristics more akin to a conventional steel-string guitar, might allow me to play nylon again. I had a couple of discussions with Jon who is a great sounding board and source of solid, grounded advice. The fact that the GN4 is in many ways very similar to my Yellow took a lot of the uncertainty away. So, I plunged in. Blimey, am I glad I did. I just love this guitar so much already. The sound is just beautiful...mellow and sweet, but the spruce makes notes distinct, almost bell-like. Plus, it is very forgiving, comfortable and easy to play....surprisingly so. The set up was perfect so no fret buzz or duff notes...except those due to me. I’ve found myself stopping mid-tune and just marvelling at the tone and resonance. I now have a pair of wonderful Furch guitars, each with its own voice and character, but with matching beauty and quality of construction, that will give me so much pleasure going forward.
