Furch Little Jane LJ 10-SM- Deluxe Travel Acoustic Guitar

Quite simply the LJ series are the finest sounding guitars of their size on the market - bar none. All solid wood construction and attention to engineering detail that will make your eyes water.

I think you wont believe you if I tell you just how stable it is. I dont think I actually believe it myself and I have witnessed it hundreds of times :). Basically you can just forget its 2 piece guitar - when you have it reassembled - you just play it!

This will begin to sound boring if you have seen my other replies but in all the years I have been selling Furch guitars (25 years) and the time frame that Little Jane guitars have been available - I have sold more than any other dealer worldwide and I have had ZERO reports of problems in that time. So, statistically, I would consider that pretty mind blowing.

However, a REALLY important note. This guitar is all solid wood and so all the normal considerations have to be taken on board that humidity, high temperature and extreme variations of temperature are not good for any acoustic instrument and if you are planning this kind of "experience" for you and your guitar companion then you should definitely also consider guitars made from carbon fibre specifically for their stability in these conditions.

I tjhink this is a very personal choice and would follow the normal qualities of acoustic tone woods - and we are here to help you with this.

However - I will say that with the guitars being so small, I PERSONALLY enjoy the warmer blends more suited to my ear. So cedar and mahogany or all mahogany, provide a sweetness and more "rounded" tone as is possible from a guitar this size where as rosewood and spruce combination will give you the detail, brighter sparke and hi fi like tonality which for me is harsher on a small body guitar because you dont have the fullness of bass to compensate the ear. This is however my personal opinion!

It is made from a highly robust fabric and whilst in all the years i DO remember ONE person requiring a replacement - I cannot state how much use or abuse that particular gig bag received - but its the only report I have ever received of any failure and I believe it was the zip.

Bottom line is the case is extremely good, well padded and highly durable in normal use / conditions.
