Keipro KJB-Standard-R MIB Bass Guitar

Keipro KJB-Standard-R

The KJB-Standard-R is a beautifully crafted bass that pays tribute to the legendary '60s Jazz Bass, combining classic styling with modern construction and carefully selected components. Built around a Roasted Poplar body, Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard, this bass delivers a warm, clear and resonant tone with a familiar playing feel.

The Roasted Poplar body provides a balanced and resonant tonal foundation, offering a warm character with a clear and defined midrange. The KPB-C1 body contour provides a comfortable playing experience, while the gloss finish and 3-ply vintage white pickguard complete its timeless appearance.

The Maple neck features a comfortable C Slim profile with a satin finish, while the Rosewood fingerboard has a 9.5" radius and 21 medium nickel frets for smooth and comfortable playing. Pearl fingerboard inlays, white side dots and a satin-finished headstock with a gold logo add subtle premium touches, while the 34" scale length provides the familiar feel expected from a full-scale bass.

Equipped with YHL Neptune J76D-N and J76D-B Alnico single-coil pickups, the KJB-Standard-R delivers the classic tonal character of a '60s Jazz Bass with a balanced and articulate response. The traditional 2 Volume, 1 Tone passive circuit keeps the controls simple and direct, making it easy to shape the warm, dynamic and expressive sound of the bass.

The KMB4-1 zinc bridge with steel saddles provides a solid foundation for reliable string vibration transfer, helping to deliver clear note definition, strong sustain and consistent performance. With its classic design, straightforward passive electronics and comfortable playability, the KJB-Standard-R is an excellent choice for players seeking a dependable and authentic Jazz Bass-inspired instrument.
