What can I say. I

What can I say.

I stumbled across Richard's Guitars online in my search for my next guitar. I wanted something that had character, suited my style and could be played for years to come.

After some proper down to earth and friendly customer service, I received just what I was looking for a couple of weeks later.

The Custom Pro Uprade took this guitar to a level that just blew my away. This guitar is exceptional value for money and feels like it was made for me. It's also just beautiful to look at.

Looking forward to playing this in sweaty little pubs and clubs up here in Scotland.

Vintage strat

Love this guitar and it was well worth the money for the set up. I would definitely buy from you again

V6MNAT

Received my guitar after a few weeks wait, but I don't resent a guitar store being busy. No complaints from me.
I own a couple of MIM Fenders and a six year old Vintage V6 which has had a few mods.
I must say that for a £300 priced guitar, with a professional setup included, my new V6MNAT is such fun to play. The pickups sound great and the neck is slick with beautifully polished frets. No sharp fret ends here.
Richards guitars deserve to be busy.

I'm impressed, and likely to buy again.

A bass player of many years (boo!), I'm currently having to do the guitar on our latest recording and needed some strat type tones. After hours poring over reviews the Vintage V6 came out as the obvious budget choice, and around a month into recording I think I made the right decision. Sound wise, it's comparable (and with less extraneous noise) to the Aerodyne Strat I was borrowing for the start of the recording, the Wilkinson pickups don't need an upgrade for my purposes, they're spot on. The trem and locking machine heads are a revelation, It just won't go out of tune (and believe me, I've tried!). Overall fit and finish is great, but It's a heavy little thing. It's worth the weight though for the ash & maple combo, and being a bass player usually it's not really an issue.

I chose Richards Guitars for the first time, because knowing I was buying a budget instrument I figured that the business's claimed approach to quality control would be important in this case. I could have bought the same guitar for slightly less (about £10 less at the time), but figured it was more than worth the extra for the setup involved. The guitar turned up, and was generally great, but I noticed a tiny choke on a note I'd probably never play, easily dealt with and I was probably being picky as all my basses are handbuilt and perfect, I decided to let them know just for their information. Honestly, it's not until there's an issue, large or small that you really find out how good someone's customer service is. The people I dealt with had a great, friendly manner, they had the courier pick the guitar up the next day, and a couple of days later I had it back, corrected and playing way beyond what it's price point would suggest. I'm genuinely impressed with the way everything was handled, astonished at how capable a sub £300 guitar can look, play and sound, and as I focus more on studio work, it's pretty certain that I'll be back.

Best guitar I’ve owned, thanks to rguitars

As the title says, best guitar I’ve owned and it’s all thanks to the work put in from rguitars. The free setup makes the guitar sound and feel like everything I’ve ever wanted out of a guitar. I’m so glad I found them, I only wish I bought my previous guitars from them. Simply cannot recommend them enough, brilliant service!

Great First Guitar

This is my first Guitar, it looks stunning and plays really well. I am truly inspired to learn to play and get better every time I pick it up.
Thanks Richard.
