I would like to try an Eastman in person. How can you help me?

Although you can just "turn up" this isnt recommended if you are travelling a long distance and want to avoid inconvenience.

Guitars we have in stock are not all kept in the showroom - the showroom provides a specific purpose for our showroom experience visitors - so to try a guitar in the showroom we need to know you are coming, in order to make arrangements for your personal convenience on the day you arrive (including setting up and quality controlling the guitars so you can take away on the day - even ensuring our tech is on hand with allocated time available for any further adjustments)

Guitars we state are in stock on the website (specifically Eastman) can take time to make available as it may even have to come from the warehouse n Holland.

Here is what I recommend you do:

1. Call us / contact via live chat / email / and let us know what guitar you would like to try. Whilst you may be interested in just one specific guitar, it could be possible that two or three guitars may well be useful for you to try at the same time so now is the time for us to begin working out what your best range of guitars to try would be - this is in fact all part of the "showroom experience" I and customers refer to in reviews.

2. Once we have confirmed stock is not only available but in the showroom, set up in advance for your visit - we can book you in a time either AM or PM whereby you will have the showroom to yourself to really enjoy the guitars allocated to you.

If you don't contact us, various negative scenarios can occur, such as, you turn up and our showrooms are all fully booked for the day and whilst we are happy for you to go anywhere, not many people want to play in the dispatch room, without access to all the amps and effects we would have lined up for you had you booked in.

Some people may think that because every guitar is listed as in stock, that every one is out on display and ready to play - even without notice - and of course this isnt the case. We have storage off site and in the case of Eastman we have guitars available in Holland too.

Our showroom experience not only safeguards your best interests but minimizes any exposure of brand-new guitars to dust, fingerprints and possible wear that us allowing anyone to play them - at any time - does bring in a regular guitar shop environment.

(I particularly one 1-star review from a builder who arrived unannounced with his friend - covered in building dust and was particularly unhappy about being turned away on the basis he hadn't booked - but we did save the condition of our guitars in the process, which goes to show for everything you do for best intentions - you can't ever please everyone)

If I order an Eastman guitar online today, how long will it take to arrive?

This will depend on various factors all of which can impact on timing of your final delivery.

If time is a major factor, I strongly recommend you contact us by chat, phone or email - to find out the status of the specific guitar you are interested in is.

If a guitar is in stock, our current setup time is around 7 days. This process is worth £90 and integral to our service and it cannot be done faster than time allows. It ensures a perfect instrument but also gives you access to a total of £225 of added value which I suggest you learn about too.

If your guitar is in stock with Eastman, then the following blog post I wrote this year gives you the current situation with delivery impact but also highlights the balance between what we carry here and what we have allocated in stock in Eastman.

Ultimately, our service has always rewarded the patient guitarists of the World :).

Walsall Strap -Nice present for my Granddaughter

The guitar strap is actually a present for my Granddaughter, so I haven't used it at all.
I was fascinated by the evident quality of the Walsall bridle-leather straps and the range of colours. The video , detailing their manufacture by skilled artisans, from premium leathers, sold me on the idea of buying one as a present and chose one in the Leaf Green colour. Although the birthday is some months away, I decided to order immediately. ( FOMO? 😄🤦‍♂️ )
On receipt of the strap, I was not disappointed. This is a top-quality, British handmade product, which should give many years of service, and of which I'm sure my Granddaughter will be well pleased.

Amazing transformation

I upgraded my acoustic and at the same time had my two existing guitars serviced. When you buy a new guitar, the value of the pro set up can be overlooked because if you bought online like I did, you never see the pre condition. Having my existing guitars set up changes that. Beyond the 6th fret buzzed, my PRS also didn't play as well as I'd like. The acoustic now sounds nearly as good as the upgraded guitar. And the PRS is way more enjoyable to play. Great job on both.

Absolutely beautiful guitar with fantastic tone - and perfectly set up with a consistent action that is easily playable all the way up the neck.
I visited the Stratford showroom to pick up my Auden Neo Bowman lefty, which came compete with a superb gig bag.

Nice guitar. Poor strings

Very happy with the guitar ( positive) I didn't like the strings very noisy from finger moving up the strings. I've have changed them to EARTHWOOD.SILK STIEEL EXTRA SOFT. BUT THATS MY PREFERENCE.

You never disappoint. Thanks to Jon, Jake and Chris for the advise, bespoke setup and supply of my newest arrival, the Cort M600TBB. It might be cheap, but the quality and playability is great. It punches way above its weight and the free set up to my exact specification makes it feel like an old friend, equal to my 2004 PRS. I love it.
