Brilliant service

Really pleased with the service and the guitar perfect set up well worth the money
Although I could of bought this slightly cheaper online the twenty pound premium was well worth it .
The nomad is a great travel size guitar beautifully made. I have 2 Faith guitars now and so impressed by them both.

Lovely guitar

After spending a few chats with Richard (the poor man), I chose this guitar from missing playing and being in need of a smaller guitar dued to fysical disabilities.
Got it just before chritmas. Not much to say but..... from the moment my fingers touched the strings it made me in a feel-good mood, smiling. I just simply wanted to keep it close and play. I guess that says a whole lot more than detailed descriptions of sound, woods and stuff.

You get a really, really lovely smaller guitar who plays with an amazing sound for it's size and with unspeakable ease. I wouldn't have thought it possible at this pricerange. I actually wish this had been my first guitar when starting out with my own years ago. It would be just perfect for that, growing with it and using it on the couch or perhabs for travel afterwards.

The setup is just as perfect as I could ever imagine or want for my situation.

I simply love it. Thanks for your (and Jon's) time online chatting, giving advice, for the lovely guitar and setup by your team. Not to forget Sally answering my questions after purchase.

I'll probably never leave my chair now... not even if my lower body by touch of some unknown divine forces should start wanting to move normal again:-D

Outstanding!

What a great instrument; bought as an 18th birthday present, perfect size and tone for my daughters voice. This Nomad sounds fantastic and is excellent quality. Richards Guitars were excellent, highly recommended. Service was friendly and professional and the communications and packaging perfect. 5 star review.

Not all that is promised.

Bought a Faith Nomad from Richard and asked for it to be fitted with Elixir 11’s and for the action to be as low as possible, albeit to allow for heavy strumming. The requested strings were nit fitted and I felt the action could have been lower, as did a luthier I use.
When I pilointeg this out to Richard he was extremely defensive and somewhat in denial.
I wasn’t going to leave this review, however I have been bombarded by auto-generated e-mails requesting a review since the purchase. So here it is!
In summary, a courteous initial service, did not deliver 100% and didn’t like to be told that. Will buy elsewhere next time ( p.s. sold the guitar to my luthier as it did not meet expectations)

Hi

The EXACT words taken from your set up requirements log...

'Would like the action as low as possible without fret buzz . Plays heavier strumming styles at times. Richard to play test prior to dispatch. 11 gauge strings (Daddario).'

Have you EVER been asked about your personal playing requirement before when purchasing a guitar?

You sent me a very cutting email about how we had let you down so I naturally replied by informing you of the EXACT words used in your set up criteria log - as printed above.

Your damning comment to me were that the action could have been lower and that you asked for the lowest possible playing action.

My reply to you was that you actually asked for the lowest possible action for someone who is sensitive to hearing string buzzes who plays with a heavy strumming style!!! I pointed out that the two comments are very very different and will result in a different setup.

So no... not in denial but in a position of being knowledgeable enough to provide you a setup that was perfectly in line what you requested.

Baring all this in mind your technician was so impressed by the guitar that he bought it off you.

You refused to give me the number of your tech who I wanted to chat to in order to explain the brief I was provided - who no doubt would have confirmed it plays EXACTLY as requested.

Despite ALL of the above I would have - at my cost - paid your tech to adjust the guitar to your liking - no problem at all - but as you say he had already bought it off you and you refused to provide any details to me.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to demonstrate our reviews are 100% real, available for all to read - better or for worse.

We are here to help anyone - including you. Thanks again

Faith Nomad Mini-Neptune, mini masterpiece

I had seen this guitar in a couple of local music shops, and was immediately drawn to it for a number of reasons. Its superb standard of construction, silky smooth frets, the satin finish, its comfortable size, and the fact it's an all solid wood, 12 fret mahogany guitar complete with inbuilt tuner and pre-amp. It met all of my technical requirements exactly, and appealed to my heart as well as my head as soon as I played it. I decided it would be perfect for me, and that I would buy it from Richard after reading the details of the set up service he includes with every guitar. An email enquiry revealed that one had just come into stock, so I made the journey to Stratford upon Avon to see it, and needless to say made my purchase. My guitar has a lovely warm colour, a little more of a lighter yellowy hue than most mahogany guitars, some of which can be a very dark brown and rather boring in appearance. Perhaps it was my imagination, but it also sounded less 'dark' than other mahogany guitars I have played, but still full and mellow. The mini Neptune arrived at my house by courier a few days later, having gone through its setup, and had been adjusted to perfection. The intonation and action was spot on, even the strings had been renewed, and there was not a fault to be found.

Basically I am delighted with both the guitar, which is lovely to play, and the service provided by Richard, who is obviously passionate and ultra enthusiastic, as anyone would see if they met him. It really makes no sense to buy from anywhere else!
