" If you know your pedal history, I'm sure you can guess what this does. This is basically Tubescreamer in the super small SMJ Legend enclosure saving you a lot of all important pedalboard real estate.

If you're unfamiliar with this style of pedal - it is arguably one of the most famous and most heavily used pedals on the market. It's been played by huge names in several genres from Stevie Ray Vaughan to Metallica's Kirk Hammett. It was originally designed to emulate the overdrive sounds of classic tube amps but is now seen as the perfect pedal to push your guitar's mid-range and saturate valve amps or other distortion and drive pedals.

Don't have a valve amp but DO have another overdrive pedal or an amp in a box pedal? Put a tube drive in front of it, keep the gain low and the volume high and it'll push that pedal even further for huge solos or big riffs.

Casting all that aside, if you just want an easy to use, tonally-honest and light overdrive just to add some more mid-range and colour to your amp - push the gain and you'll be there with ease! "
